Lexycom Technologies Inc. Introduces the Telion Software Defined Radio with Push-to-Talk Capability

Longmont, CO--Lexycom Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of Software Defined Radio, (SDR) transceivers, announces the addition of Push-to-Talk capability to the list of Network Topologies already supported by Lexycom's Telion-1300 SDRs. The Telion-1300 SDRs are data diverse, 1350-1390 MHz, miniature transceivers. The Telion Push-to-Talk function supports 330 Slots per second timing with future capability of extending it up to 1000 Slots per second. Additionally, the Push-to-Talk Remote units can operate in RF-Sync or 1PPS-Sync modes.

Lexycom's Telion-1300 SDR is a fully digital, extremely flexible, user programmable data transceiver with RF channel throughput of up to 1.2 Mbps. It is equipped with several high-speed communication building blocks such as a Matrix-type Interleaver/De-Interleaver, Convolutional FEC, Viterbi soft-decoder, fully-compliant SDLC, and a high speed (up to 3.5 Mbps) synchronous/asynchronous serial interface. Furthermore, the Telion-1300 can be equipped with additional detachable RF Section(s) allowing for true multi-band functionality.

The on-board Firmware Bank allows the user to pre-program the transceiver with several different waveforms. The device can then switch between the pre-loaded waveforms in a matter of seconds per user command. This feature combined with the transceivers compact, light weight design (board-level SDR weighs 3.5 oz), makes the Telion-1300 SDR ideal for a variety of applications.
